On January 1, 2002, four clients were being served by the Mo-Mex Shelter plan:
- The first, which started operations in 1989, is a Client Managed Facility which produces guitars and guitar strings.
It was employing 187 hourly workers over two shifts in a 38,000 square feet facility.
- The second, which started operations in 1990, is a Client Managed Facility which produces wireless alarm systems. It was
employing 313 hourly workers over three shifts in 37,000 square feet of a new facility of 60,000 square feet, constructed in 2001.
- The third, which started operations in 1997, is a Mo-Mex Managed Facility which produces hand painted refrigerator magnets.
It was employing 7 hourly workers in a 4,000 square feet facility.
- The fourth, which started production in 1999, is a Client Managed Facility which produces medical equipment in a clean room environment.
It was employing 19 hourly workers in a 8,000 square feet facility. This client is installing extensive leasehold improvements, to provide a 40,000 square feet facility, and permit it to employ over 200 hourly workers.
